Mrs. Lancena Lincoln
Manchester Depot - Mrs. Lancena Lincoln, 91, native of Manchester where she had spent most of her life, died Saturday at Putnam Memorial Hospital, Bennington. She had lived in Bennington for more than three years, and had been in the hospital only a few days after breaking her hip.
Born in Manchester April 19, 1866, she was the daughter of Francis and Calista Wheeler Kilburn. She was the oldest living member of the First Baptist Church of Manchester Center.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Grace Clayton of Manchester Depot and Mrs. A. Sidney Edson of Bennington; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Brewster Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Manchester Center.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in the First Baptist Church, Manchester Center, with the Rev. Edgar Johnson, pastor, officiating. Entombment will be at Factory Point Cemetery.
