FALLBROOK – Laura Marjie Allen, 74, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 1997, in Fallbrook.
Born Aug. 6, 1923, in Gordon, Neb., she lived in Fallbrook for 32 years. She was a cook at the Fallbrook Convalescent Hospital.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Allen of Fallbrook; son Dale Allen of Canada; daughters Bertha Nagin of New Jersey and Gladys Allen of Kansas; four brothers; four sisters; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside was held Sept. 29 at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations to Fallbrook Hospice, 624 E. Elder St., Fallbrook, CA 92028.
