The funeral service for Earlene M. Johnson, wife of William F. Johnson of Route 5, will be held in Mills & Mills chapel next Monday afternoon, starting at one o'clock. The Reverend Henry S. Rahn will conduct the service. Burial will take place in Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday after a week's illness. Born in Calera, Alabama, April 15, 1897, Mrs. Johnson moved to Los Angeles in 1936. Since her husband re-entered the service during the last war, she has followed him to the various camps to which he was assigned. They have lived here since the first of the year. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Baptist Church. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Lieutenant J. W. Waggoner, U.S. Navy; Herbert and Horace Waggoner of Olympia; a daughter, Mrs. Borden Allen, living in Alabama; two brothers, Henry and Paul Lowe of Birmingham, Alabama; and ten grandchildren.
