Cmdr. James W. Waggoner, USN, 37, of Beeville, Texas, who had lived here for 13 years, suffered a heart attack and died Friday while delivering a Navy plane to Miramar Naval air Station.
Waggoner had been stationed at Chase Field Naval Air Station for 10 months. A student pilot in the plane with him landed the plane at Chase Field.
Waggoner is survived by his widow, Marjorie L.; four sons, Timothy, Mark, James, and Thomas; and a daughter, Marjorie. The family will live at the former El Cajon address, 955 Jamaican Rd. There are also two brothers and a sister elsewhere.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at Paris Mortuary. A requiem mass will be said tomorrow at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Holy Trinity Church of El Cajon with internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
