Norene Pryor Lingle, 97, of Cambria died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, after a brief illness.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at Benedict-Rettey Chapel in Morro Bay with interment in the Cambria Community Cemetery.
Our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and grandmother entered the gates of heaven on Sunday, Oct, 5 at 12:51 p.m. Her life was characterized by a deep and abiding belief in our precious Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. She was loving and generous with her family.
Those left behind to both celebrate her promotion into heaven and to grieve at the loss of her presence are her beloved sister and companion of 92 years, Mary Pryor Wheeler; niece Barbara Therault and Wanda and husband Leland Gangwish and family; grandnieces, Kathlyn and husband Ron Linderboom , Stefani and husband Garry Rice and April and husband Bart Knight; great-grandnieces, Linda Marie Knight and Esther Rice; nephew Charles and wife Nadine Pryor and family; grandchildren, Susan, Denise, Terry and Mark; as well as many beloved friends.
