According to the 1900 census for South Omaha, NE, Charles and Augusta were married in 1874. She was the mother of 11 children total, 7 of whom were still living at the time. Children John (age 22), Mary (age 24), Lena (age 19), and Charles (age 14), all born in Missouri, were living with their parents at the time the census was taken.
