DEWEY BRAWNER

Dewey Brawner, 70, of 3408 Loganwood Drive, a salesman for McWhorter & Greenhaw Hardware for ten years, died here Monday.

Brawner was born in Smith County and had lived in Dallas for 45 years. He had been a whholesale hardware salesman for the old Peaslee-Gaulbert Co. for 32 years before joining McWyhorter & Greenhaw in 1960. He was a member of the Military Parkway Church of Christ.

Survivors: wife; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Berry of Dallas; a brother, Thomas Brawner of Houston; five sisters, Mrs. Ilene Martin of Dallas, Mrs. Gladys Russell of Houston, Mrs. Liouise Wood of Virginia, Mrs. Lenita Buie of Itasca, Hill County and Miss Addie Brawner of Alvin, Brazoria County; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Military Parkway Church of Christ. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
