Sarah "Sally" Plummer was born abt. 1816 in probably Clark Co., OH, and died after the birth of her son, Jacob Titus Henkle, who was born August 13, 1836, the son of Asa S. Henkle & Sarah. They were married on October 7, 1835 in Clark Co., OH, by the Reverend Saul Henkle, the son of the Rev. Moses Henkle, who is also buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. It is believed that Sarah "Sally" (Plummer) Henkle died as a result of childbirth when Jacob Titus Henkle was born. Asa & Sarah's son is named after his grandfather Jacob Titus Henkle, whose wife was Elizabeth Forsee Henkle. Sarah "Sally" (Plummer) Henkle descends from James Plummer & his wife Nancy Ann (Higgens) Plummer.
It is thought that Sarah is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Henkle burial plot as there are several graves that the stones aren't readable and some stones may not be there anymore. This would be in the same plot where her father-in-law & mother-in-law are buried.
