"T. Louie Miller Dies Suddenly; Funeral Saturday - T. Louie Miller, 60, lifetime resident of Coleman, was dead on arrival at Overall-Morris Memorial Hospital at 3:43 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 1963. Funeral services were held at St. Marks Episcopal Church Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and burial was in Coleman City Cemetery.

"Mr. Miller was born in Coleman January 5, 1903, attended Coleman schools and was graduated from A&M College where he was a member of the Aggie football team from 1920 through 1924. A rancher and member of the Episcopal Church and the Masonic Lodge, he was married in Waco in 1930 to Miss. Dorothy Wendorf.

"Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louie Miller of Coleman; his mother, Mrs. J. A. B. Miller of Coleman; one daughter, Mrs. Phil Devanney of Plainview; three brothers, J. P. Miller and Claude Miller, both of Coleman; and Morris Miller of Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Rogers and Miss Doris Miller, both of Coleman; and two grandchildren, Diane and Phillip Devanney of Plainview.

"Officiating minister was the Rev. Richard McDuffie, pastor of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, and pallbearers were Wallace Dingus, Fred Paddleford, Lamar Evans, John Kerr, W. I. Nowlin, Jim Price, Wade Hemphill, and R. C. Chandler."
