When but a small boy the family moved to Page county, where he spent his entire life. He lived near Braddyville for over 60 years.
He was married to Lillie May Johnson, Dec 1, 1892. To this union were born our children, Claude, of Braddyville, Orville, of Los Angeles, Calif, Clarice Apple and Nina Bix both at home. He is survived by his wife, the four children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Of a family of eleven children to which Mr Apple belonged, only one brother survives, J.E. Apple, of St Edward, Neb.
Funeral services were conducted from the Walker Funeral Home at 3:00 pm Wednesday, Sept 6, by the Rev Orvel Prather. Music was by Mr and Mrs Maynard Burch and Aletha Hutchings. Casket bearers were Clyde Apple, George Apple, Mason Williams, Ted Laub, Charles Willsie and Orville Shockey. Burial was in the Clarinda cemetery.
