Katrinka Ann Lewallen Hodges, age 58, died Thursday, July 15, 1999 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 1999, at First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson, Texas, with Brother John Hatch officiating. Graveside services followed at 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, 1999, at the Colorado City Cemetery with Bradley Jay Hodges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lakewood Funeral Home of Lake Jackson.
Mrs. Hodges was born on September 7, 1940, in Roscoe, Texas. She graduated in 1959 from Colorado High School. She lived in Lake Jackson for 41 years, moving there shortly after her marriage in 1958. Ann was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson for 41 years.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie Ray Hodges; three children, Randall Ray Hodges and his wife, Jacqueline, of Shreveport, Louisiana, Bradley Jay Hodges of Houston and Kellie Chanel Hodges Jones and her husband, Keith Jones of Houston and formerly of Big Spring; and three grandchildren.
