Former Otis Employe, 88

Frederick Kuss, husband of the late Annie Steck Kuss, died suddenly this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George V. Wallin, 361 Park Avenue. He was eighty-eight.

Born in Germany, he came to the United States 75 years ago and had lived 54 years in Yonkers. He retired 20 years ago from the employ of the Otis Elevator Company. Mr. Kuss was a member of the Workmen's Benefit and Benevolent Association, Branch Three.

He is survived by two sons, Frederick W. of Hastings, and George Kuss of Yonkers; three daughters, Mrs. Wallin, Mrs. Herbert Gebhardt and Mrs. Joseph Nitsch of Yonkers; a brother, Henry Kuss of Yonkers; two sisters, Mrs. Maxvllle
Siebner of Long Island City, and Mrs. Herman Tauchnltz of East Orange, N. J., and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 P. M. at the Yonkers Funeral Home, South Broadway and Highland Avenue. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
