Immigrated to US arriving at Ellis Island on May 13 1886 on the ship "Pennland". He became a naturalized citizen on December 11, 1893 in Jefferson County, PA.

STROKE FATAL
O. J. Parise, 80, Native of Austria
Is Buried Saturday


O. J. Parise, 80, died Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock at his home on Route 6, Lufkin, following a stroke of paralysis suffered 4 days ago.

He was born in Trento, Austria in 1854, and has been a resident of Angelina County for 15 years. He was a member of the Catholic church.

Survivors include
* 4 sons: L. D. Parise of Lufkin, J. L. Parise of Poteet, Otto Parise of San Antonio and C. R. Parise of Mt. Carmel, Pa.
* 2 daughters: Mrs. Lena Woody of San Antonio and Mrs. Charles Cazes of Alexandria, La.
* 2 brothers: Joe and Kelley Parise of Brockwayville, Pa
* 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Catholic church with interment in Glendale Cemetery, Father E. C. Veillard officiated.

Funeral arrangements were under direction of Glenn Funeral Home.
