Otto Parise, 70, of San Antonio died there August 19 in Santa Rosa Hospital after a three week illness.
Mr. Parise is the brother of the late L. D. Parise of Lufkin.
Rosary services were held Sunday at 7 p.m. and Requiem Mass at 8:15 a.m. Monday by the Very Reverend Vincent Vederame, O.M.I., at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment was in the San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gipson Young, Louis Parise, Edward Burratee, Anton Benishek, D. L. Murphy and Jack Gilbert.
Attending from out of town were Charles J. Cazes, John Cazes and Annie Cazes of Alexandria, La. and from Lufkin, Mrs. L. D. Parise and daughters, Lucille and Katherine, Mr. & Mrs. D. L. Murphy and children, Margaret, Judy and David, Mrs. Womack M. Hathorn and Mr. & Mrs. Louis Parise and son Garland.
Mr. Parise is survived by two brothers, Caesar Parise and Jack Parise of San Antonio; and a sister, Mrs. Charles M. Cazes of Alexandria, La.
