Irmo - George Milford Ballentine, 83, of Rt. 1, died Monday at a local nursing home. Funeral services were to be held at 1 p.m. today at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Donald Diegel officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery. Mr. Ballentine was born in Richland County and was the son of the late George S. and Martha Ann Lindler Ballentine. He was a retired merchant. Surviving are his widow, Eula Mae Amick Ballentine; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Dukes, Aiken, and Mrs. Tom O'Keefe, Vestel, N.Y.; one son, George P. Ballentine, Florence; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Buiding Fund.
