COUER D'ALENE, Idaho, April 23 [sic: This paper is dated April 19!]. - Henry Klappenburg, age 59, a pioneer of Couer D'Alene, died suddenly today of apoplexy. After returning from the Adventist church at noon Mrs. Klappenburg found the body o her husband. Mr. Klappenburg had been a resident of this city for 30 years and was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges.
For the last 12 years he had been a member of the volunteer city firemen and was employed by the street department of the city. He was formerly a member of the police force. Besides his widow, he leaves one daughter, Esther, of this city, and two step-sons, Clyde Cramlet, a teacher at the University of Washington, and Theodore Cramlet, who is attending school at College Place, Washington. He also leaves two sisters and three brothers.
