"Miss Caroline Bell, 83 years of age died Sunday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. H. E. Hackett of Glenn. She was born in Ceres and had lived there a large part of the time. She spent some years in Idaho where she kept house for her brother, Wilson Bell. Besides her sister and brother above named, she is survived by another sister, Mrs. Jennie Ledyard of San Jose, Cal. The funeral was held at the house and the body was laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery on the King farm.”
