He was a son of the late John A. & Elizabeth Miller and was born and lived his entire life in or near Bridgewater. He was a man of high character and was held in esteem by all who knew him.
His wife, who was Miss Sarah Frances Pennypacker, of West Virginia, preceded him in death on April 5, 1933.
Surviving are four children, Thurston J. Miller, of Harrisonburg, Jason Miller, of Mt. Jackson, Miss Minnie E. Miller, at home and Miss Vada C. Miller, of Mt. Jackson; four grandchildren, and a brother, J. W. F. Miller, of Bridgewater.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 from the home, with the services being conducted by the Rev. C. G. Hesse and Dr. J. S. Flory. Interment will be in the Bridgewater cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
