ANNIE ALINE WATSON KILLEBREW

Annie Aline Killebrew, 84, was taken by our Lord and Savior on June 11 at her residence in Buchanan Dam. She is survived by her husband, Elgin Murry Killebrew, son Raymond Gene Killebrew and wife Alice Killebrew, brother Raymond Don Watson, and sister Irene Wommack. She is also survived by grandsons Raymond V. Killebrew and wife Tracy Killebrew and Michael Thompson. Her great-grandchildren are Tristen Thompson, Landree Thompson, Madison Thompson, Jordan Killebrew, Karissa Killebrew, and Sydney Killebrew. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Aline was born in the Clear Creek area of Burnet County on May 16, 1927, to E.R. and Viola Watson and was one of seven children. Aline attended school in Oatmeal, Texas and soon after began a career as a beautician around the Highland Lakes as an Owner/Operator for many years of her life. She was an avid golfer and member of the Highland Lakes Golf Association for many years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Aline enjoyed gardening and canning and will be well remembered for her cooking abilities. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Aline will be remembered as a very kind, loving, yet determined woman. Most will remember her as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched many hearts over the span of her life. Aline will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

A visitation was held Monday, June 13 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Graveside Service was held Tuesday, June 14 at the Bluffton Cemetery with Minister Tim Denton officiating. Honorary pallbearers named were Ben Watson, John Watson, Chase Watson, Todd Overstreet, Doug Overstreet, Todd Mauldin, and Dave Armstrong.
