Mrs. Dorothy Butler, 67, La Salle resident for more than 30 years, and the wife of Jacob Butler, 935 Creve Coeur st., La Salle, died at 8:05 a.m. Sunday at St. Mary's hospital, La Salle, where she had been removed for treatment Saturday morning.

Born in Joliet, September 17, 1873, she was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Momper, who preceded her in death. She came to La Salle in 1911 and has since made this her home. She was a devout attendant at St. Joseph's Catholic church, La Salle, and for several years had been a member of the Sanctuary society of that church.

Surviving is the husband, and seven children, Jacob Butler Jr., Chicago; Mrs. Loretta Peterson, Morris; Raymond Butler, Glenview; Mrs. Marjorie Hadley and Mrs. Ann Scanlan, at home; Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell, La Salle; Staff Serget Edward Butler of the army flying school, Columbus, Miss. Two children preceded her in death, Joseph in infancy and Ambrose died in June, 1935. One brother Arthur Mompler, Joliet, and eight grandchildren, including Carol and James Hadley, William Scanlan, La Salle; Edward Peterson Jr., Morris; Joyce Ann Butler, Evansville, Ind., Lynn Butler, Glenview; Robert and Patty Butler, Chicago, also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the family residence at 935 Creve Coeur st., La Salle. The cortege will move from the home to the St. Joseph's Catholic church, where a requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in St. Vincent's cemetery, La Salle.
