Mollie Leffler
Mollie Leffler, 89, died Friday, Oct 21, at Centennial Health Care Center where she had been a resident since March. Before entering the center, she had lived at 2818 W 12th St. in Greeley for the past 30 years.
She was born Aug 1, 1905, in Laub, now Tarlyk, Russia, to John P and Catherine Margaret (Jacoby) Webber.
Mrs. Leffler came to the United States in 1912 and grew up in the Johnstown area. In 1934 she married Henry Leffler of Eaton and lived in the farming areas of Eaton and Ault until 1954, when they retired to Greeley. Mr. Leffler died in June 1954. She was employed by the University of Northern Colorado at Cross Hall for 20 years and retired in 1973.
She was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church, now Faith Lutheran, in Eaton for 45 years and was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran in Greeley for 15 years.
Survivors are a daughter, Donna Peluso, and a son, Bill Leffler, both of Greeley; three sisters, Margaret Thiel of Greeley, Esther Binder of Milliken and Emily Reinhardt of Arvada; a brother, Theodore Webber of Longmont; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her friend of 60 years, Kathryn Pappenheim of Eaton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Eaton Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. Monday at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of Greeley in care of the Macy Chapel.
