William David Hooper, 68, of New Windsor, died Friday, July 17, 1992 at the Carroll County General Hospital.
Born in Union Bridge, March 29, 1924, he was the son of the late David W. Hooper and the late Addie Bell Waddell Hooper. He was a carpenter for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Hilda Marie Garver Hooper of New Windsor, daughter Judith Covell of New Windsor; sisters, Thelma McClelland of Reese and Loretta Schaefer, Nettie Schaefer; Helen Deliospedale, Mae McKinney and Shirley Tipton all of Westminster; and brothers, Clifford Hooper of Westminster, Herman Hooper of Hampstead and Donald Hooper of Easton, Pa. Also surviving are 32 nieces and nephews, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
