Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 25, for Addie Hooper Stephan, 78, of 163 Sullivan avenue, Westminster, who died Sunday at Carroll County General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Carroll county. She was the daughter of the late David and Nettie Nail Waddell.
She was the wife of the late David W. Hooper and Albert D. Stephan.
She is survived by seven daughters and four sons: Mrs. William Colson, Mrs. William McClelland, Miss Loretta Hooper, Mrs. Harold Schaeffer, Mrs. Paul Dellospedale, Mrs. Mae McKinney, Mrs. Melvin Tipton, all of Westminster; William D. Hooper, New Windsor, Clifford Hooper, Washington, D. C., Herman Hooper, Hampstead and Donald Hooper, Easton, Pa.; two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Hilda Lots, Westminster, Mrs. Lillie Dorsey Savage, Md. and Roland Waddell, Baltimore. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Thomas D. Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main street, Westminster. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery. Her pallbearers were Michael Deliospedale, Steve Snyder, William McClelland Jr., Gerald Hooper, Gary Hooper and William Colson.
