William Burdette Stone is the son of William Thomas Stone and Freda Fenley Stone. He is their first of two sons.
He is the grandson of Hardin Stone & Lucy A. Wallace Stone and William Vivion Fenley & Lenora Jane Tapp.
He is the brother to Donald E.
William Burdette Stone married Barbara Inez Smith. Together they are the parents of a living daughter, and SGT William Earl Stone USA, who was killed in Vietnam in 1968.
Mr. Stone died at the age of 82 years old and is buried along side his wife Barbara and his son Billy in the West Side District Cemetery.

Mr. Stone was born in Belvedere, Nebraska on April 8, 1920 and went to join his beloved wife Barbra in heaven on July 28, 2002.
Mr. Stone worked as an operator for Standard Oil for many years. After retirement, he traveled throughout the United States with his wife and cat.
He loved to hunt, fish, ride horses and spend time with his family. He never met a stranger and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his son William Earl Stone, his parents William and Freda Stone and his brother Donald Stone. Mr. Stone is survived by his daughter, his grandchildren and their spouses, and seven great grandchildren.
