Teresa Phebe Kimball Werner was the sister of Winifred Kimball Hudnut, and aunt to Mrs. Hudnut's daughter, Winifred Kimball Shaughnessy (aka Natacha Rambova), who was married to silent film star Rudolph Valentino. Teresa and Winifred were the granddaughters of the Mormon Apostle Heber Chase Kimball and his first wife, Vilate Murray.

Valentino loved Teresa like she was his own aunt and remembered her in his Will.
