Alexander J Bodnar, 63, a former resident of Lorain, died MOnday in Rochester, N.Y. of an apparent heart attack.

Born in Lorain, he had lived in Rochester 28 years.

Mr. Bodnar is a graduate of Lorian High School and the Lorain Business College. He was a salesman for the W. Bingham hardware Co. for 35 years, and was employed 10 ten years by the Worthington Co.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Rochester.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret (nee Kuhn), to whom he was married 42 years; two sons, Alexander J., and Frank J. both of Richester; three brothers, Burt, JOhn and William Bodnar, all of Lorain area; and his step-mother, Mrs. Rose Bodnar, a step-sister, Mrs. Mary Dornazet, and a step-brother, Andy Mate, all of Lorain.

Frirends may call at the Emil Dovala Funeral Home in Lorain tomorrow from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev Charles M. Logue, pastor of St. Fincent DePaul Church, officiating.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
