Catherine Raup de Quintero, 72, a resident of Caracas, Venezuela, passed away on Friday, February 19, 1999 in the Policlinica Metropolitana at Caracas.
Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA, on Wednesday, December 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late H. Craig and Maria Lois (Gortner) Raup. After the death of her mother, she and her sister were reared by the Elmer B. Zellers family.
She was the wife of Romulo Quintero to whom she was married 51 years.
Catherine was a 1944 graduate of Montgomery-Clinton High School and a 1948 graduate of Penn State University.
Catherine was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-Iaw, Michael and Dorothy Quintero, Caracas, Venezuela; Richard and Fanny Quintero, Sunrise, FL; 1 daughter, Susanna Quintero, Arlington, TX; 1 sister, Lois E. Clark, Beavertown, PA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted from the Christ Lutheran Church, 50 E. Houston Avenue, Montgomery, PA at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 18, 1999 with Reverend Ronald E. Shellhamer officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Clinton Twp., Lycoming County, PA.
Arrangements are being handled by the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 40 East Houston Avenue, Montgomery, PA.
