Stone, Waucoma; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Janette Adams, 84, who died Tuesday of last week at the home of her son, William Adams, in Waucoma, were held Wednesday afternoon with burial in the Waucoma cemetery. Her death was the third break in the in the last 18 months in a pioneer Fayette county family, which had remained unbroken for over 75 years. MRS. ADAMS DIES TUESDAY MORNING
Aged Waucoma Woman Expires at Her Farm After Long Illness.

WAUCOMA -- Mrs. Nettie Adams, 84, died Tuesday morning at 1 o'clock at her farm home near Waucoma, after many years of invalidism. For many years she had been totally blind, and required constant attention of a nurse.

As the daughter of Oliver and Mary D. Stone, Mrs. Adams was born Jeanette, March 27, 1857, in Warrensburg, N.Y., coming with her parents to Eden township, April 13, 1860. She attended the old S.S. Ainsworth academy in West Union, and taught school for several years thereafter.

On Dec. 23, 1888, she was married to Merrit S. Adams, and shortly thereafter they moved to the farm which has since been her home. Mr. Adams died May 28, 1919. They became the parents of three children, Mrs. Florence Berns, West Union; William M. Adams and John Adams, both of Waucoma.

In addition to the children mentioned above, those surviving her are William H. Stone, Waucoma, a brother; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
