The duplication of given names was not done in error.

I have included a photograph of the Wagner family plot in Saint Michael Cemetery. I am uncertain as to where Mathias (Martin) Wagner is interred. However, it is possible that the "Father" marker in the center foreground refers to him.

Sources include census records (1860 Homer and 1870 Homer), Ancestry Family Trees, "Where the Trails Cross" 1987, and Illinois wills and probate records, as well as numerous records for his children.
