ST. GEORGE – A Colorado State Patrol news release reported a St. George man died Monday after his motorcycle went off Colorado Highway 141.
According to the release, 74-year-old Patrick J. Mungari had been driving north on the highway with 11 other riders when his motorcycle veered right and off a steep embankment.
Mungari, wearing a helmet, was ejected from his bike.
The crash was reported at approximately 11:47 a.m. Monday. According to the news release, excessive speed may have been a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
