Abijah, son of Abijah Potter and Mary Tower, married Lydia Rowell, daughter of Capt. Daniel Rowell and Judith French. He was also a farmer, like his father.

All their children were born in Percy/Stark. They had twins Caroline & Lyman, Louisa, Leonard, Mary T, twins Joshua & Caleb, twins Abijah T and Lydia M, and Betsey. Abijah & Lydia buried all of their children by 1835 except for Lyman and Leonard. Four of them were all buried in May 1834.

He was preceded in death by all of his family except wife, Lydia, and sons, Lyman and Leonard.

Son, Lyman, later donated this piece of family land where all his siblings were buried to Stark for a town cemetery.

Stone has broken in half and is propped up between chucks of red granite so the rest of the inscription is gone.
