Raymond Schenaman funeral was held at Roper and Sons Chapel in Lincoln, NE at 12:00 Noon on Monday January, 20, 2003. Officiating was Rev. Dr. Raymond Meester. Ray was a member of Myrtle Chapter #94 of Eastern Star and a Master Mason of North Star Lodge 227, A.F. & A.M. Pallbearers were: Chuck Bodfield, Bob Bodfield, David Schenaman, Gary Schenaman, Jim Tice and Al Farmer. Honorary Pallbearers were the Telephone pioneers Association and the Masonic and Shrine Organizations.

Ray Petitioned at North Star Lodge 227 on September 7, 1994, and was voted into membership October 5, 1994. He conferred his Entered Apprentice degree November 11, 1994, and his Fellowcraft degree on January 19, 1995. He was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason March 13, 1995, all in North Star Lodge 227. He served as Senior Steward in 1996, 1997, and 1998. In 1999, he served as Junior Deacon.

Ray was never married but had many friends. He was a great friend to all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
