OBIT:
A lifetime resident of Lewis County, Estella E. Smith, 85, died at her Centralia home Saturday, June 16, [1984]. Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 18, 1898 on Layton Prairie near Toledo and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Ellsworth J. in 1974.
Surviving are two daughters, Edith Parker of Portland, Ore., and Lois Brotherson of Centralia; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Armstrong of Centralia, and Mrs. Mark (Edith) Kirkendoll of Toledo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Newwell-Hoerling's Chapel, Centralia with the Rev. Edgar Toevs officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Centralia, following by a luncheon at Fords Prairie Grange Hall.
