GALATIA, ILL. — Mildred B. Coultas, 84, of Harrisburg, passed away 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.

She was born March 11, 1926, in Alton, Mo., the daughter of Ray and Mary Ethel Little Hall. She married Cecil Eugene Nickles who passed away 2 Sep 1973. She married the Rev. G.E. Coultas on Sept. 12, 1975, in Belleview. She was a licensed practical nurse and a member of Buena Vista Community Church.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. G.E. Coultas of Harrisburg; two sons, Harold Nickles of Springfield and Lonnie Nickles of Louisiana.; one sister, Lucille Brookshire of Salem, Mo.; and several grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Bob and Donnie Nickles; seven brothers; and one sister.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at the Buena Vista Community Church with the Rev. G. E. Coultas and the Rev. David Ducommon officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Garden Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buena Vista Community Church from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
