Louis, Missouri to Arthur Ray and Mary Ethel (Honeycutt) Hall and passed
away October 22, 2017 in Laurie, Missouri at the age of eighty-eight years.
On February 8, 1948, Anna Lucille Hall was united in marriage to Claude Earl
Stewart and to this union five children were born. After Claude's death in
1977, Anna married Jesse E. Brookshire in 1990. Anna enjoyed sewing,
cooking, gardening, canning, quilting, embroidery and crocheting. Anna was
baptized at the Salem Christian Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Claude Stewart and
Jesse Brookshire; great grandson, Judson George Stewart; brothers, Lewie,
Chester, Lester, Donnie, Gordon, Harvey and Bobbie; sisters, Cleo and
Mildred; step-daughter, Rita Quick.
Survivors include her children, James Ray Stewart and wife, Carolyn, Sunrise
Beach, John Gilbert Stewart, Gravois Mills, Julie Ann Stewart and husband,
Luke, Eminence, Mary Jane Thomlinson and husband Jeffery, Rolla, Kansas,
Jeffery Earl Stewart and wife, Sonja, Bunker Hill, Illinois; step-son, Ronald
Brookshire, Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and
one great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, extended family and
friends
Anna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service for Anna Lucille Stewart-Brookshire was held Wednesday,
October 25, 2017 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Bro. Bobby
Mathis officiating. Special music was provided by Christen Easter. Serving as
pallbearers were Justin Stewart, Jason Stewart, Joshua Stewart, Jospeh
Stewart, Bradley Davis, and Garet Long. Honorary pallbearers were Burke
Easter, Bryan Quick, Todd Hodge and Keith Summers. Interment was in the
Rector Cemetery.
