Biography:

Aaron Hood was born in Bedford Co. Virgina (Ref 3). He served in the Revolution as evidenced by his inclusion in the 1800 Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrants Applicants. Apparently getting a land warrant in Knox Co. Tennessee, he settled there with his family.

He married Anna Spradling (b. Nov 5, 1767) probably in Virginia in 1792. They lived in several Virginia counties - Montgomery, Franklin, Frederick, Orange, and Wythe and also lived in Berkeley Co. WV.(1)

     Lucas b. 1792 m. Elizabeth McCraven, m. Catherene Davidson;
     John b. 1789 m. Mary Holloway, m. Mary Couch;
     James m. Susan Hensley;
     Margaret b. abt 1795 m. Caleb Capps;
     Aaron Thomas b. 1802 m. Nancy Hensley, m. Cynthia McIntosh;
     Robert b. 1804 m. Christina Rule;
     Andrew b. 1800 m. Sally Burnham, Mary (Polly) m. Oren Burnham;
