The exact day-dates of birth and death are unknown. The above are estimates, based-upon the month-year of each, as cited on the gravestone. i.e. add 88y 1m 12d to b.01-Mar-1792 = d.13-Apr-1880. That allows for 2 days, prior to the burial date (which is known) for the planning and execution of her funeral. Had there been more than 2 days, that would mean she would had to have been born in February of 1792 (not March). Note that the Census of 1860 lists her birth-year as being, "1796".

The gravestone (c.f. photo at right) is a replacement of an older marker, which bore the inscription of her age at the time of death, as: 88y 1m 12d.

Nota bene: The name "Crozier" is of Old French origins from the late 13th century; from O.Fr. 'crocier'; from M.L. 'crociarius' "bearer of a cross"; from 'crocia' "cross"; also from O.Fr. 'croisier' "one who bears or has to do with a cross". The two words merged in Middle English. Technically, "the bearer of a bishop's pastoral staff;" erroneously applied to the staff itself since 1733.
