George "Clifford" Wood passed away on Dec 29, 1924, age 48, from pneumonia in the township of Eagle in McCurtain County Oklahoma. He was the son of George and Wiley Ann (Johnson) Wood. Cliff was born July 4, 1876 in Missouri. He was married to Harriette Ann Striplin in 1895. His death certificate lists his occupation as a teamster. He is preceded in death by his parents and two daughters; Daisy and Hariette, who died a few days apart in Jan 1915 from influenza. He is buried near the girls in the Broken Bow Cemetery, but we are unable to find a headstone.
