Ralph J. Musser, 73, of 802 2nd Ave., Mendota died Feb. 13, 1997, in Mendota Community Hospital.
Services will be at 11a.m. Monday in the Merritt Funeral Home Mendota. The Rev. James Saltzman will officiate. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. Military rites will be given by the Mendota Veterans Memorial Council.
Visitation will be 1-4p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Sublette to Isaac and Nettie (Clink) Musser. He married Jean Wallace Aug. 1, 1964 in Mendota.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Elks Lodge # 1212, VFW 4079 and Mendota Veterans Memorial Council. He served in the Air Force in WW II. He was employed by RR Donnelly for 43 years.
Survivors are his wife, Jean; two sons, Jerry (Lisa) of Wenona and Ralph Jr. Baltimore, MD; four daughters; Mrs. Paul (Patricia) Truckenbrod Jr. of Mendota, Mrs. Lyle (Colleen) Pendarvis of Ohio, IL, Mrs. Dennis (Bonnie) Corrigan of E. Peoria and Pam Turner of Spring Valley; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Sam Musser of Mendota; three sisters, Laura Johnson and Mabel Geuther of Mendota and Ila McGuire of Mt Morris and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry; three brothers and two sisters.
