Andrew Kibler Sr., 76, of 633 E. Princess St., husband of the late Matilda Miller Kibler, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at York Hospital.
He was a son of the late Charles W. and Mary Ritter Kibler. He retired 11 years ago from the former Careva Co., and was a Navy veteran of World War I. He was a life member of Conway-Fulton Barracks 563, Veterans of WWI.
Surviors include a daughter, Mrs. Francis E. Leik, 213 Fulton St.; three sons, Elwood Miller, Manchester RD 1; Andrew Kibler Jr., 633 E. Princess St., and Richard G. Kibler, 130 E. Sixth Ave; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Katherine Smith, 211 Fulton St; Mrs. Mary Eichelberger, Northland Drive; Mrs. Sophia Wagaman, East Philadelphia St.; Mrs. Floyd Heikes Sr., Craley; Mrs. Edith Perkinson, 533 Country Club Road, and Mrs. Emmaline Goodling, Wellsville; and four brothers, George Kibler, 762 Wallace St.; Charles Kibler, York RD 7; Ervin Kibler, 726 Glen Way, and Milton Kibler, 724 Glen Way.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Morgan E. Frey Funeral Home, 1223 N. George St., with Rev. Roger E. Keech, pastor of Messiah United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
