Mrs Jim (Dollie) Hazelbaker, 96, a resident of Clarinda for the past 66 years, died at the Clarinda Municipal Hospital at 7:30 am Sunday. She has been able to be in her own home at 308 E Garfield St until recently, when she had to go to West Heights Manor because of her health. She had been in the hospital since last Sunday. She was the daughter of the late Eli and Barbra Hockertt O'Dell, and was born on a farm near New Market. She was formerly employed at the Mental Health Institute. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago. Surviving are her two children, Paul Hazelbaker of Fort Dodge, and Mrs Wilma Brady of Omaha, and one sister, Mrs Leota Kendrick of New Market. Funeral services will be conducted from the Walker Funeral Home at 2 pm Tuesday, with the Rev Francis Hubbel in charge. Burial will be at the side of her husband in Memory Cemetery at New Market.
