Mrs. Mary Matilda Kaatz, 77, a former resident of Culver, died at Lincoln, Neb., Sunday morning. She was born Nov. 21, 1882, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John M. Austin, Culver. She has lived at Lincoln a number of years. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Lincoln. Several nieces and nephews from Salina will attend. Planning to attend are Harold Heywood, Lee Roy Shank, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hardisty, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jewell, Guy Austin, Mrs. Mabel Austin and Mrs. Earl Joslin.
Otto Carl and Tillie Kaatz had 4 children, Leoland Carl, Louise Inez, Carroll Austin, and Paul Edwin.
