Milton Andrew Brooks, Junior (July 29, 2007)Milton Andrew Brooks, Junior of Reliance,Polk, Tennessee passed away Sunday, July 29, at Sweetwater Hospital in Sweetwater, Monroe, Tennessee. He was 85. Survivors include: wife-Nina Mae McKenzie Brooks of Reliance, Polk, Tennessee;Daughters and sons-in-law-Judith Donato of Reliance, Polk, Tennessee; Patricia Ann and Kenneth Gray of Madisonville, Monroe, Tennessee; Susan and Steve Powers of Tellico Plains, Monroe, Tennessee;Six grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren;Several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Monday, July 30 from 6-8 p.m., at Myers Funeral Home in Tellico Plains, Monroe, Tennessee. Funeral service to follow in Myers Funeral Home Chapel at 8 p.m., with Rev. Larry Gibby officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, July 31, 10 a.m., at Hamby Cemetery, Reliance, Polk, Tennessee. Arrangements by Myers Funeral Home, Tellico Plains, Monroe, Tennessee.

Milton Andrew Brooks, Junior, the son of Milton Andrew, Senior and Nora A. Boyer Brooks, was born 12 January 1922 in Versailles, Morgan County, Missouri and died 29 July 2007 in Sweetwater, Monroe County, Tennessee. He graduated from Morgan County Public School in Salmon, Morgan County, Missouri on 23 April 1932 and graduated from Cuba Community High School in Cuba, Fulton County, Illinois on 27 May 1941. He had only one brother:
1. Gale L. (1926-2004).

In 1930 US Census, he was living in Haw Creek, Morgan County, Missouri, attending school and able to speak English. In 1940 US Census, he was living in Harris, Fulton County, Illinois, attending school and finished his 2nd year in high school.

He married Nina Mae McKenzie in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee on 24 Mar 1948 and had the following children:
1. Judith Kay (1949-).
2. Patrisha Ann (1954-).
3. Linda Nell (1958-1958).
4. Susan Noreen (1964-).
5. Nancy Caroline (1965-1972).
