Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia (Josie) Schrader, who died December 24, 1967 at Collins Memorial Hospital following a long illness were held December 27th from St. Paul Lutheran Church near Lacona, with the Rev. Laurence Stacy officiating. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery. Casket-bearers were: grandsons Donald Herold, Dennis Schrader, Doran Schrader, Dale Schrader, Frank Schrader and Doyle Schrader, Charlotte Becker, organist, accompanied Mrs. Jerry Haselhuhn and Edgar Borchert.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Ladies Aid. Her parents' husband; three sons, Raymond, Daniel and Dale; one daughter, Irene; and one sister, Mary, preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Helen) Herold; two sons, Walter of Lacona, Iowa and Ivan of Lucas, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Knust, Council Bluffs, Iowa and Mrs. Fred [Luella] Haselhuhn, Melcher, Iowa and 10 great-grandchildren. - Newspaper is unknown -
