Stockwell - Miss Anna B. Cresswell, 91, who taught elementary school in the days of the one-room school buildings, died unexpectedly at her home in the Yorktown community, two miles south of Stockwell, at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning. Miss Cresswell many years ago taught grade school at Gladdens Corner and several other places. She was a native of Shelby county. Miss Cresswell was a member of the Clark's Hill Methodist Church. Survivors include a brother, Harry E. Cresswell, Clinton, N.Y., and two nephews and a niece, with whom she made her home at different times, John R. Holst, West Lafayette, Aubrey Lee Holst, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Rosellen H. Shoaf, Lafayette. Services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Amos McGinnis officiating. Interment Clark Cemetery, Clark's Hill.
