George W. Curry, 81, formerly of Freedom Acres mobile home park, died this morning at Westminster Village, where he had resided for a year.
Mr. Curry was born in Muncie and moved to Louisville in 1942. From there he moved to Canton, Ohio, where he was supervisor of tool and died makers of Ford Motor Co. He retired and returned to Muncie in 1965 with his wife, Vitrus, who preceded him in death. He was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are his mother, Myrtle Curry; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Phyllis) Yohey, Muncie; a son, Byrl, Farmington Hill, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Vera Williams, Montpelier; a granddaughter; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
Private services will be conducted Monday at Elm Ridge Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Parson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Westminster Village skilled care unit.
