Orville graduated from Algona High School. In Algona, Washington.
Was in World War II-United States NAVY
His first wife was Margery Pearl (Elliott) Rupe, married in Seattle, WA on 8-29-1941.They had two children.
His Second wife was Edith (Carr) Rupe, married in Burien, WA on 7-1-1961. No children.
Preceded in death by his parents and son Robert O. Rupe.
He is survived by his wife Edith, Brother Jack W.(Dorothy) Rupe and daughter Sheila (Rupe) Burns, grand children, Dawn M. Jensen and Brian R. Rupe-Gilmore. One Great grandchild, Christina Jensen and two nieces.
A few of the things Orville loved to do were fishing, hunting, clam digging and camping in their trailer. Orville and Edith enjoyed going to Reno for vacations. He built a chalet style home on Twin Lakes in Shelton WA. A place they could enjoy whenever they wanted to get away from the busy city. He enjoyed his family, his little doggy and always welcomed Friends.
He is gone way too soon and is greatly missed by all that loved him.
