OAKLAND,MARYLAND -- Dorothy Eloise Rausch, 80, of Oakland, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011, at Garrett Memorial Hospital.
She lived for 28 years with her daughter, Henrietta Lyons and husband Bill.
Born Nov. 18, 1930, in Cooperstown, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Arlene (Pope) Vibbard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas B. Rausch; brothers, Glenn Vibbard and Harold Vibbard Jr.; grandson, B.J. Lyons; and great-grandson, Logan Lyons.
Dorothy had worked as an aid at Cuppett & Weeks Nursing Home.
Surviving are her son, Miles Paugh, Cumberland; daughters, Lizetta Rausch Bittinger, Oakland, Alma Cosner, McHenry, Henrietta Lyons, Shallmar, and Nora Paugh, Oakland; brothers, Ronald Vibbard, New York, Raymond Vibbard, Pennsylvania, Douglas Vibbard and Gerald Vibbard, New York; one granddaughter; seven grandsons; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy's body was cremated and inurnment will be at the Rocky Gap Cemetery, Cumberland.
