"Eli Tyrer Funeral is Held Monday Afternoon. Eli Tyrer, 81, a life-long resident of Dodgeville and a retired miner, died Friday evening in a local hospital where he had been a patient for a few days. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Lulloff Funeral Home with Rev. Theo. F. Matthews of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was made in Eastside Cemetery. Mr. Tyrer was hard-working, quiet and friendly with everyone. Surviving is one brother, George Tyrer of this city, and several nieces and nephews."
