After Dr. Crews passed away in 1965, Daisy Lou found love again and married Dr. Earl R. Gaskill in 1967 with whom she shared 34 wonderful years until his death in 2001.

She was a member of Riviera Country Club where she was an avid tennis, golf and bridge player and was a volunteer with several of Miami's nonprofits.
